Dr. Dickson Mwenda Kinyua of the School of Pure and Applied Sciences, Kirinyaga University has completed a 3 months’ research and networking visit at the University of Cambridge, UK. The visit was part of a collaborative grant awarded in 2020 by the Cambridge-Africa ALBORADA Research Fund on the development of new photonic approaches for imaging diagnostics of malaria infections. Dr. Kinyua was working under Prof. Pietro Cicuta- Head of Biological and Soft Systems at the Cavendish Laboratory.
